Our company, A.B.J. Kosterman vof. is growing Amarcrinum Howardii since 1992. This cross of amaryllis belladonna and crinum moreï, comes originally from America, but a lot of European countries, especially Scandinavia, are very interested in this product.
The flowers are going to destinations all over the world when they leave the Aalsmeer auction. Not only the flowers, but also growing the bulbs is an important part of our company. As the bulbs have reached bulbsize 20, they will give one stem in autumn.
From bulbsize 20, the bulbs will be sold, the bigger the bulb, the more stems you pick. The last 10 years our company has won several prices with Amarcrinum Howardii at different competitions. Several first prices at the Horti-fair in Amsterdam.
